An item says reserved, what does that mean?Updated 14 hours ago
Reserving an item is a way for a friend or family member to secure a gift, and give you time to organise it, or visit a store to see it in real life before purchasing it. Remember, if you reserve it, it means no other friends or family will be able gift it, so only reserve an item if you intend to purchase it.
You can reserve an item for up to 7 days. Please also note that reserving an item doesn’t actually secure the stock of the item until you purchase it.
Some family and friends might reserve an item, and then buy it outside of the Gift Registry experience. In this instance, we advise them to log into the Gift Registry and click ‘I’ve already bought this’ next to that item. This is helpful, as it marks off the product as ‘gifted’ and means noone else can purchase it, so the Registrant won’t receive double ups.
